How to Play
Betting
Chips are displayed by denomination ($1.00, $5.00, $25.00, $100.00, $500.00) at the bottom of the game window. Select the amount to wager by clicking the left mouse button on the desired chip denomination.
Place your ante bet by clicking on the Ante field. To specify a bet that is not equal to an existing chip denomination, click on a different chip denomination after placing the previous chip on the table. Example: To bet $30.00, click on the 25.00 chip and place it on the table, then click on the $5.00 chip and place it on top of the $25.00 chip.
Clicking the right mouse button on the Ante field withdraws the wager. The total bet will be displayed in the Bet field just below your account Balance. If you place a wager that is lower than the table minimum, your bet will be automatically adjusted to the minimum.
To wager on the Bonus Bet, follow the same steps as placing an Ante bet, clicking on the Bonus Bet field instead of the Ante field.
When satisfied with the bet amount(s), click on Deal.
On the 2nd and subsequent hands at a table, there is a convenient re-bet button (or shortcut) that will place the same bet as the previous hand.
Dealing
The Dealer delivers two cards, face down to each player and the dealer. After reviewing the cards, two options are available :
- Select Fold
- The dealer collects the Ante bet
- The two-card hand remains on the table if the Player has wagered on the bonus side bet
- The two-card hand is discarded if there was no Bonus Bet
- Select Bet
- Twice the amount of the Ante bet is placed on the Flop wagering area and the hand continues the hand
The Flop
The Dealer "burns" one card face down, then turns over three cards in the Flop area. These are community cards used by all Players and the Dealer.
The Turn And The River
Before each of the 4th and 5th cards are revealed, there is an optional wager that the player can make.
Starting from the Dealer's left, and continuing clockwise, each player again has two options :
- Check
- Continue the hand without an additional wager
- Bet
- Continue the hand with an additional bet equal to the Ante
After each betting round, the Dealer "burns" one card face down, then turns over the next community card.
Settling the Hands - Pay and Take
The dealer reveals his two-card hand and compares his best five-card combination against each of the players' best hand combinations.
- If the Player's hand value and the Dealer's hand are equal, the Dealer indicates a Push
- If the Player's hand is lower than the Dealer's hand, the Dealer takes the Player's Ante, Flop, Turn and River bets
- If the Player's hand is a greater value than the Dealer's hand, the Dealer pays the Flop, Turn, and River bets even money (1 to 1)
- If the Player beats the Dealer with a straight or higher, the Player is paid even money on the Ante, Flop, Turn, and River bets. If the Player's hand beats the Dealer and is lower than a straight, the Player is paid even money on the Flop, Turn, and River bets while the Ante is a push
