Aim Of The Game

With Solitaire games, also known as Patience in Britain, there does not exist a precise history of the game, but it is probable that solitaire was born with the advent of cards. It is a card game that is popular all over the world. The word solitaire is of French origin meaning patience.

The object of the game is to move all cards to the appropriate stack. The player will win an amount equal to the amount of cards moved to the different stacks. The object of Casino Solitaire is to free up cards in the deck so as to build up the Suit Stacks in ascending order, starting with the Aces as foundations.

Summary Of Rules

1. A single deck of 52 cards
2. There are 4 foundations for suit stacks that are initially empty
3. There are 7 column row stacks with cards fanned down and with the last card flipped over facing upwards on the end of each stack. The cards are dealt from left to right as follows: 1 card in the first stack, 2 cards in the second, 3 cards in the third and so on to 7 cards in the last stack on the right
4. The remaining cards are placed face down in the stockpile in the upper left corner
5. A play deck will be created by turning over from the stockpile and placing them, face up on the play deck that will sit to the right of the stockpile
6. The suits are Spades, Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds
7. Any card that is face up in any Stack is available for play
8. Player must click on the cards and drag them to the Row Stacks and the Suit Stacks and vica versa
9. To move a card, stack or partial stack from one Row Stack to another, click the highest card you want to move and drag it to the other Row Stack. Or you can also click the destination and release
10. Only a King or Row Stack starting with a King can be moved into an empty Row Stack position
11. To move the top card from the Play Deck to any stack, click and drag it
12. To move the top card from the Play Deck or any Row Stack to a Suit Stack, click and drag it - or double click it and it will go automatically to the correct stack
13. To get at the face down cards in a Row Stack, you must free them by moving the face up cards to another stack or to an empty Row Stack position. When the top card in a Row Stack is a face down card, click on it to turn it face up
14. When you can't move any top cards or stacks, click on the Stock pile to put a new card on the Play Deck. You may only go through the Stock pile 3 times. When the "X" appears, you have turned over your last card from the Stock pile
15. You may go through the Stockpile three times. When the "X" appears, you have turned over your last card from the Stockpile. It is important to note that this is the typical standard in Windows Solitaire in which the player can go through the Stockpile 3 times

How To Play

Bet Selection

Clicking a Bet Selection right and left arrow sets the amount of your bet for each game of Casino Solitaire. You can change the bet prior to the start of a game. This area allows the Player to select the amount they wish to wager on the bet. The Right Arrow increases the bet, the left Arrow decreases the bet.

Set the Bet Selection to the amount you wish to wager from either: £1.04, £2.60, £5.20, £10.40, £26.00, £52.00

The default bet is £5.20

To Start

Follow the Summary of Rules to move cards to the Suit Stacks in the upper right-hand corner. When you have moved all 52 cards to the Suit Stacks or can't make any more moves, click End Game to collect your winnings and clear the board for another round. Based on the cards you have you can do the following by left clicking on the appropriate button :

Deal
Starts a new game by dealing out a new hand. Player may then begin play by moving or revealing cards.

End Game
Stops play of the game and pays out any winnings (as indicated by the Win Meter) to player's account balance. No more moves can be made after End Game is clicked.

End game button resets the whole game.

Undo
Allows player to undo last card move, if permitted. Undo is disabled when an undo action is not allowed. Once clicked, Undo will become inactive until a subsequent card move is made that is undoable.

When undo can be used :

• Players may only use once per move to undo the previous move
• To undo the player's last card move to either of the 4 Foundation Suit Stacks or the 7 Row Stacks
• If a card or Row Stack of cards was moved from one stack to another

Note - exception for undo is when a face up card is on the play deck undo is allowed

When undo cannot be used :

• Undo is disabled when an undo action is not allowed
• You cannot undo turning a card that is face down over - once a card is turned face up it will stay face up
• You cannot undo the placement of a king card in an empty column stock

Win Rate
Indicates the rate at which player will win money for each card put up in the Suit Stacks. The Win Rate is determined by the Bet Selector setting. The win rate information will be updated whenever the bet selection changes at the beginning if each game.

Paid (Win Meter)
Indicates the amount of money won by the player in the current game. The Win Meter value equals the number of cards in the Suit Stacks times the Win Rate. The rate meter button will update in real-time as the player moves the cards and earns points. The win rate information will reset at the beginning if each game.
