Multi-Player Baccarat Rules
William Hill Casino Baccarat is played with Atlantic City Gaming rules. Authority - New Jersey Casino Control Commission. Rule Exceptions - The cards are shuffled after partial completion of the shoe. There are eight decks of cards in the shoe. Two hands are dealt in Baccarat - The banker's hand and the player's hand. Prior to each deal, the player wagers on whether the Player's hand or the Banker's hand is closest to a total of 9. The player also has the option to wager on a tie (i.e. both the banker's and player's hands total the same). Your chips are stacked by denomination (£1, £5, £25, £100, £500) at the bottom of the game window. Select the amount you would like to wager on a given hand by clicking the left mouse button on the chip of that denomination. The amount wagered per hand may be increased by placing the mouse on the stack that you wish to add to your bet and clicking with the left mouse button. Each time you click the left mouse button on a stack of chips you will add a chip from that pile to your planned wager amount. In addition, the denomination indicator arrow changes color to match the color of the chip denomination that you have selected. By clicking on the right mouse button you will withdraw your entire wager. Your total bet will be displayed in the Bet just below Username. You may repeat your last bet by clicking on the ReBet button or by simply hitting the 0 button of your numeric keyboard. Other keyboard shortcuts are summarized below. In the multi-player version of Baccarat, each table can accommodate seven players and the dealer. You may change your position on the table by clicking on the desired spot between hands. Each player begins a hand by placing a bet on the Baccarat table. You may place a bet when the Deal button, Pass button and betting chips are placed in front of your seat. There are three types of bets a player may wager on - the Player's hand (click on the first circle from the end of the table to place the wager), the Banker's hand (click on the second circle from the end of the table to place the wager), or the Tie bet (click on the number above the second circle to place the wager). A combination of these bets can also be made. Place your wagered amount by clicking with the left mouse button on the Baccarat table field you would like to bet (Player, Banker, Tie). Once you have placed a bet on the table, you may choose to skip the given deal (before your first card is dealt) by clicking on the Pass button or to proceed with the bet by pressing Deal. If you do not bet or pass within 15 seconds from the beginning of your turn, you will be automatically excluded from that particular hand. Note that if you join a table in the middle of a hand, you must wait until the round is over and after that you will be able to bet on the next hand. After each player has pressed either the Deal or Pass button, the Player and Banker are dealt two cards. All tens and picture cards are worth zero, aces are worth 1, and all other cards are worth their face value. If the value of cards exceeds 9, then the value is adjusted by subtracting 10 from the total. Example : After the first two cards are dealt to both the Player and Dealer, a third additional card may be dealt but the player does not ask for a third card. All additional cards are subject to a third card rule. No hand receives more than three cards. When the Player and Banker hands equal the same total, the hand is declared a Tie. If the value of the cards in either the Player's Hand or the Banker's Hand is an 8 or a 9 (a natural) after receiving their initial two cards then no more cards shall be dealt to either hand. If the value of the cards in the Banker's Hand on the first two cards is 0 to 7 inclusive, the Player's hand shall draw in accordance with the Third Card Rules. If the Player's two cards total : After the Player's Hand acts on a third card draw, the Banker's Hand receives a third card according to these rules : When the Banker's two cards total between 3-6 : If the Player's hand stands on two cards (6,7), then a two card Banker hand totalling 3,4,5 must draw and a Banker hand totalling 6 must stand. A winning Player hand wager is paid at 1 to 1. A winning Banker hand wager is also paid at 1 to 1 but the player must pay a 5% commission to the bank. Winning Tie wagers are paid at 8 to 1.
