Red Dog Poker Rules
In Red Dog poker number cards are worth their face value, Jack is worth 11, Queen 12, King 13 and Ace 14. The suit of the card is not important. To deal the cards click on the 'Deal' button. Two cards are then dealt, if they are consecutive in value then it is a tie, your bet is returned to you and the round is over. If the cards are of equal value a third is drawn. If it is equal in value to the first two then you win 11:1, otherwise it is a tie. If the two cards drawn are not consecutive or equal in value then the spread is worked out. This is the number of cards between the two cards drawn, for instance 3 and 7 have a spread of 3 and Jack and King have a spread of 1. By clicking on either the 'Raise' or 'Call' button you can now raise your bet (double it) or call (continue the game without raising). A third card will then be dealt. If it lies between the previous two cards you will win according to the payout table which is displayed on the card table. If it matches one of the two cards already dealt or is outside of the spread then you lose your bet. Remember, if you win a hand you will receive your bet back alongside the winnings. Therefore, if a spread is marked as 'Even' and pays even money, you will be paid double your bet if you win. For instance, should you bet $10 and win on an even spread you will receive $20. If you win on a spread of three which pays 2:1 you will get double your bet back in winnings ($20) plus your original bet ($10). To start a new game click on 'New Game'. You can either place a bet as described above or click on 'Rebet' to place the same bet again.
