American Roulette Rules

American Roulette is a casino game where players spin a wheel and predict the number/colour where the ball will come to rest. There are Inside Bets where one bets on the inner part of the table and Outside Bets where one bets on the outside parts of the table. Each table has a minimum and maximum wager limit and players can bet any money within these limits.

Inside Betting

Straight Up

The Straight Up bet is made on one number where the payout is 35-1.

Split Bet

Is a bet on two adjoining squares, either vertical or horizontal with a payout of 17-1.

Street Bet

Is a wager on a vertical line of three numbers. The chips are placed on the rim of the line at the end of the street.

Special Street Bet

A bet on three numbers, either 0,1 and 2, 00,2 and 3 or 0,00 and 2. The chips should be placed on the cross-section of lines where the three numbers meet.

Line Bet

This is effectively placing two Street Bets, therefore betting on six numbers with a payout of 5-1 when correctly predicted.

Corner Bet

A bet on the ball landing on any four adjoining squares with a pay-off of 8-.

Five Bet

A Five Bet allows the players to bet on five numbers, 0,00,1,2,3. The chips are placed on the intersection of the two rows.

Outside Betting (does not consider 00)

Column Bet

Has a payout of 2-1and is a bet predicting that the outcome of the spin will be the ball landing on any one of the twelve numbers on three horizontal rows.

Dozen Bet

Bets are placed on groups of 12, 1-12, 13-24 or 25-36. To win, one of the selected 12 numbers must be “hit.”

Red/ Black Bet

A bet predicting that the ball will land on either Red or Black. Payout is 1-1.

Even/Odd Bet

A bet on the outcome of the spin will see the ball landing on either an odd or an even number. Payout is 1-1.

Low/High Bet

A bet with a payout of 1-1, predicting that the ball with land either on high numbers, (19-36) or low numbers, (1-18.)
